If you’re planning to visit Gray’s Lake park between the rain and possible snow this week, it may look a bit different.

Crews start on the first phase of construction to repair and stabilize the lake’s shore Monday.

The construction project includes a steel wall to repair the bank that’s damaged from erosion and floods.

The second phase begins in May, when the city will close the trail around the park for about two weeks while they complete the project.
