House lawmakers invited the public to weigh in on senate file 296, before they take it to a vote.

The senate has already approved the bill which would expand Medicaid coverage in Iowa.

A total of 73 people have signed up to speak, 55 in support, 45 opposed and 1 undecided person will get a limited amount of time to express their views to lawmakers.  Not all those who signed up will get the chance to speak their mind; the hearing will only run until 7p.m.
