Cold and Windy…Heavy Snow Too Close for Comfort
The wind was whipping the rivers, lakes and puddles across central and especially southern Iowa today. Gusts topped out near 40 mph this afternoon.
The wind will start to die down by Midnight. Tomorrow is going to be calm…warmer with no chance for measurable rain until late evening and again Sunday.
a couple of pictures linked together from our photolinker Shanna Bruns in Bussey, IA shows the water receding over one of the rural roads leading into the town.
We have the flooding that will continue to cause complete chaos for farmers…but at least we don’t have 10″ of snow like my best friends..Sean and Jackie Roberts in Minnetonka, MN. Start the grill and start the spring thaw on that deck.
