A man accused of setting a Des Moines church on fire last year is scheduled to go on trial Monday.

Fifty-six-year-old James Galbo is charged with arson in connection with the August fire.

It happened at the Lighthouse Full Gospel Baptist Church. People were still inside the church at the time of the fire. No one was hurt but the church was destroyed.

Investigators believe Galbo was living in the church when he set the fire.

He pleaded not guilty in the case.
