The bond of a man accused of killing his wife in Boone in 2012 has been reduced.

A Boone County judge ruled Tuesday that Alexander Fazzino’s bond be lowered to $500,000. His initial bond had been set at $1.5 million.

Fazzino is charged with first degree murder in the death of his wife 32-year-old Emily Fazzino. She was found dead in the bathroom of the couple’s home on January 29th, 2012.

Alexander Fazzino was charged with murder and arrested earlier this month in Kansas City.

A bond review hearing was held Monday where Fazzino’s attorney argued he wasn’t a flight risk. The judge in the case made the ruling to lower his bond Tuesday.
