Saylorville Lake hit a record low level in December, but thanks to recent rain and snow melt things are looking up.

The most recent measure shows the lake is up almost four feet and to add to that good news the reservoir is taking in more water than it is releasing.

Right now Operations Manager Jeff Rose says the lake level is ideal, “this is where we want to be to meet all of our missions.” And it is just in time, as the weather continues to warm there will be more boats on the lake, all boat ramps are currently open.
