Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley says the new ag guest worker program in the pending National Immigration Bill could end up as a pathway to non-agricultural jobs for many workers.

Grassley argues that the measure’s new ag guest worker program may simply repeat the mistakes of the past and if ag is the basis to make it easier for some to come into the U-S legally, and they don’t stay in agricultural, then it isn’t being helped.

Grassley complains the larger bill doesn’t secure the nation’s borders before legalizing illegals and questions the entry and travel of the Boston bombers - a connection that sparked a near shouting match between Grassley and New York’s Chuck Schumer on Judiciary.
