A court hearing has been set for a Prairie City woman involved in the death of a 4-year-old girl.
Twenty-four-year-old Jena Wright is charged with four counts including child endangerment resulting in death and neglect.
She is expected to be in court next Monday for a preliminary hearing.
Wright was babysitting Jordyn Arndt on Monday when the child was mauled by a dog. Family members believe Arndt tried to pet Wright’s American Staffordshire terrier when it attacked.
The child was taken off of life-support and died Tuesday from her injuries.
