The trial for a Boone County man accused of killing his wife is scheduled to begin Tuesday.

Josh Powell is accused of killing his wife Jaclyn inside their Ogden home last October. An autopsy revealed Jaclyn died of asphyxiation due to strangulation.

Investigators say the two got into a fight when Powell intentionally hit her, then killed her.

He left the home and didn’t call police until the next morning.
