JOBLESS RATE: U.S. Unemployment Falls

The latest unemployment report shows the number of people looking for jobs in the U.S. has hit a four year low.

The unemployment rate for April dropped to 7.5 percent.

The Labor Department says the economy added 165,000 jobs. The only sectors that cut jobs in April were construction and Government.

Iowa’s unemployment rate for March was 4.9 percent, Iowa’s April numbers will be released May 17.
