On Tuesday, Warren County voters will decide whether they want gambling in their neighborhood.

Supporters want developers with Wild Rose Entertainment to build a multimillion dollar casino, hotel, events center, and bowling alley near Norwalk.

They say the project would bring jobs and money to the county.

Opponents say there’s already a casino nearby at Prairie Meadows and they say they don’t want crime and the negative lifestyle that could come with gambling.

The polls in Warren County are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

If voters approve the measure, the casino would still have to pass city zoning votes and the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission would have to also approve the casino.
