More 70s…More Rain…but More Like Spring

Ed's Weather Journal

We are going to see highs in the upper 70s Tuesday. It will be sunny through most of the day and we will have more clouds late in the afternoon.

Showers and isolated storms are going to take over the radar map Wednesday. Highs will still be in the middle 70s. More rain on Thursday…although light…will take temps back to the lower 70s. Friday looks dry…and the weekend looks cooler with temperatures in the 60s…and rain on Saturday.

Do not fear…it looks warmer and drier next week.

Had the chance to play Wakonda Golf Club today with several media folks who will be covering the Principal Charity Classic in a few short weeks. The course looks fantastic. This picture of the 17th hole. It is a par three..and one of the coolest on the course.Wankonda Wide

We were stacked up around 8:30 this morning…ready to hit the links.

It was impressive to see how nice the course looks and how much thought has gone into making sure the public has a chance to see several holes and fairways at once.

I was worries about parking for the event…but the club is going to have everyone park at Water Works Park…right up Fleur. There is an access road on the north side of the course…close to hole #17…where all spectators can enter and get to their favorite viewing spot with great ease.

Get out there and enjoy another great day of blue skies and flowering trees.
