An Ogden man has been found guilty of murdering his wife.

A Boone County jury returned the verdict Monday in the first degree murder trial of Joshua Powell.

Investigators say Powell strangled his wife, Jaclyn Powell, at the couple’s home during an argument on October 20th, 2012. He waited until the following day to call 911.

Powell will be sentenced on June 14th. The mandatory term for first degree murder is life in prison.
