HALF STAFF: Flags Lowered For Officers

Iowa police officers will be honored across the state this Friday.

Governor Branstad has ordered all flags at the Capitol Complex will be flown at half-staff Friday in observance of the Iowa Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony, which will be held at the Oran State Office Building of the Iowa Department of Public Safety.

The ceremony is open to the public and will pay respect to all Iowa police officers killed in the line of duty.
