The Valley Junction Farmers’ Market got off to a rough start last week, the spring snow storm kept vendors, buyers and the band at home for opening day.

This week things are looking much better and organizers say the market will be in full swing along 5th Street Thursday until 8:30 p.m.

The inclement weather also postponed the Junction’s Cinco de Mayo celebration. It will be held this Saturday from noon to 10 p.m.
