SCHOOL GUN: Father Expected In Court

The father of a child who brought a loaded gun to school earlier this month is scheduled to be in court Thursday.

Thirty-one-year-old Louis Friestad is charged with neglect and making a hand gun available to a minor.

Johnston police say an eight-year-old boy brought a handgun to Lawson Elementary School on May 7th. School officials saw the gun and took it away before anyone was injured.
