The Iowa legislator is running in to the third week of unpaid overtime. The state senate is scheduled to meet again Tuesday.

The Iowa house is scheduled to resume the session Monday.

Last week they passed a number of budget bills and sent them onto the governor.

They have more budget bills to pass before they adjourn. Legislators haven’t passed education or commercial property tax reform measures yet.

Leaders thought they had a property tax deal Thursday but some democrats later questioned provisions that limit how much local government can raise property assessments each year.
