BANK ROBBERY: Marion Woman Arrested

A Marion woman was arrested after she allegedly robbed a Coralville bank Friday morning.

Jennifer Lee Redmond, 34, of Marion, was arrested Friday and charged with first-degree robbery and failure to display a registration plate.

Coralville police say Redmond walked into the U.S. Bank in Coralville at around 10 a.m., presented a note demanding cash while pointing a pistol at the teller, then allegedly fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money,

Redmond is being held in the Johnson County jail awaiting her initial appearance.
