FLOODED RIVERS: State Parks Close

Three state parks are closed due to heavy rain and flooded waterways.

George Wyth State Park in Black Hawk County will likely be closed through the weekend due to the Cedar River flooding.

Dolliver State Park in Webster County closes at noon Monday. Officials say the Des Moines River has cut the park in half.

Walnut Woods State Park is also closed in West Des Moines due to flood warnings.

Spring Brooke State Park near Guthrie Center is off limits. The Iowa DNR is contacting all reservations to arrange for a refund.
