Storms to the south and east of the metro will keep creeks rising and rivers at bank-full.

There are fewer storms over central Iowa...this is going to be the trend through the weekend. Rivers will continue to rise down stream. Be ready for water on roads and some closed roads.

The best chance for severe storms will stay along the southeastern border of the state. There will still be chances for showers tomorrow...but by Sunday we will have much drier conditions. It will remain cool.
