DROUGHT REPORT: Nearly All Of Iowa Drought Free

All the recent rain and flooding has pulled most of the state out of drought.

The latest drought monitor report was released Thursday by the USDA and the national weather service.

Only 1-percent of the state is still considered in a moderate drought.  Another 13-percent of the state is considered abnormally dry.

Just three months ago 100-percent of the state was in a drought.
