Evidence of flooding has been cleared from Des Moines roads.

The last remaining closed section of George Flagg Parkway was reopened Thursday.

The road had to be closed last week when the Raccoon River spilled out of its banks.

Crews spent Thursday clearing debris and making minor repairs in order to have it open in time for the evening commute.
