Representatives of U.S. chain restaurants are joining members of Congress to call for the repeal of the Renewable Fuel Standard Thursday. According to a media advisory from the National Council of Chain Restaurants - the RFS mandate drastically manipulates the corn marketplace and increases commodity and food costs across the supply chain - from farmers and chain restaurants to consumers and diners. NCCR, other coalition partners and lawmakers are holding the press conference on Capitol Hill tomorrow (Thursday) to launch ‘Feed Food Fairness: Take RFS Off the Menu.’ NCCR, White Castle and Wendy’s will all be represented. They will be joined by former National Cattlemen’s Beef Association President Steve Foglesong, Virginia Congressman Bob Goodlatte and Utah Congressman Jim Matheson
