An Ankeny man was arrested Tuesday for possessing and distributing obscene material of a minor over the internet.

Police searched 48-year-old Paul Hildreth’s home and confiscated his computer. Investigators then discovered images and videos of minors engaging in sexual acts.

Hildreth has been charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and dissemination of obscene material of a minor.

He has been released from the Polk County jail on a $60,000 bond.
