Thursday night you can catch the premiere of a documentary about the 1980s farm crisis.
Iowa Public Television unveils the “The Farm Crisis” at 7:00 p.m. It’s being screened at the State Historical Museum.
The documentary is narrated by NBC News reporter Harry Smith. Smith is a Central College graduate. He will be at the premiere tonight.
The documentary looks into how the farm crisis happened, the economic and political factors leading up to it, and how it led farmers to bankruptcy.
“The Farm Crisis” will start airing on IPTV on July 1st.
