Two Ankeny men are facing charges following a convenience store heist Monday morning.

Police say 21-year-old Seth Clark and 20-year-old Tanner Sellers robbed the Casey’s at 2905 West First Street Street in Ankeny.

The clerk says the men had a gun, but they didn’t get away with any money.

The clerk described the men’s clothing and police found them in a nearby vehicle.

Police say the men ditched the weapon which turned out to be a pellet gun across the street from the Casey’s.

Both Clark and Sellers are facing first degree robbery charges.
