80/35 FESTIVAL: Commuters Affected

The 80-35 musical festival is this weekend taking over Western Gateway Park in Des Moines causing detours for drivers.

The outdoor concert is July 5th and 6th but crews are already setting up, adding the fencing for the event.

The stages will go up later this week.

More than 40 national, regional, and local acts will be performing on three stages.

Roads around Western Gateway Park are closed including Locust Street from 15th to 10th and reduced traffic on Grand from 10th to 14th.

12th street from Locust to Walnut is shut down as is 13th from Grand to Walnut and 10th from Locust to Walnut.
