A lawsuit challenging the Iowa Board of Regents’ decision to close a Cedar Falls school has been dismissed by the Iowa Court of Appeals.

The regents decided to close Price Laboratory School due to budget cuts, and said the aging school would need too many updates.

The lawsuit argued the Board of Regents didn’t have the legal authority to close the school.

The court rejected that argument and said the appeal wasn’t timely as it was filed after a 30-day deadline.
