Dozens of Iowa National Guard soldiers are returning home this weekend following a nearly year-long deployment.

A welcome home ceremony is being held Saturday for 60 soldiers with the 1034th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion. They deployed in August of 2012 for training in Texas and then served in Afghanistan providing logistical support.

The community is invited to welcome the soldiers home at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Camp Dodge in Johnston.
