  • Love the Boston Harbor, and the American flag flying behind this boat.

  • Jenny loves seafood. First stop: Barking Crab. We ordered lunch without checking market prices. Total: $110! Everything costs double in Boston.

  • Outside the Garden. (I refuse to call it TD Garden.)

  • Also outside the Garden. The gravity defying statue of Bobby Orr after his famous Stanley Cup winning goal in overtime, 1970.

  • Our friend Stacey works for the Garden. She was given a championship ring after the Bruins won it all in 2011. She has smaller hands than me, so I had to go pinky ring.

  • Oyster House, oldest restaurant in America. Yes, Jenny ate more seafood.

  • My lifelong best friend John is a Boston police officer. He also likes nachos.

  • Jenny and I in Charlestown, Boston's oldest neighborhood.

  • The famous Whiskey Priest. Didn't see a priest, though it would not have surprised me.

  • Jenny, Stacey, and John outside Jacob Wirth's. My dad and his buddies used to come here for beer and brats before and after Celtics games in the 60s.

  • I doubt it's changed much.

  • John is laughing because Jenny just tipped an annoying accordion player $10, and as soon as he got the money, he left our table.

  • My two favorite craft beer names in Boston. Mass Whole and Blonde Cougar.

  • Red Sox were gone, but Fenway wasn't.

  • This photo is last summer, but it makes me feel better about not seeing a Red Sox game this trip. It was only weekend we could make it work.
