Ankeny's Kendyl Lindaman is having an all-time great season.  Lindaman has 23 homeruns, just 1 shy of the all-time state mark for a season.  Erica Martinez of Fort Madison hit 24 homeruns in the 1999 season.

The career homerun record in the state belongs to Jaden Spencer of Waterloo West who set the record in 2011 with 54 bombs.  The all-time national mark for homeruns in a career is 72, right now Lindaman is on pace to hit over 90, as she's only a freshman.  Wow.

Next year Kendyl will play for Ankeny Centennial.
