Two Des Moines men have been arrested in connection with the burglary of an Urbandale home last week and police think they may be linked to other incidents.

Police say the men were burglarizing a residence in the 7000 block of Roseland Drive during the daytime on July 10th when the owner returned home. The men then robbed the homeowner at gunpoint.

Twenty-year-old Eduardo Ontiveros and 21-year-old Leonel Najarro-Zamora were arrested and charged with first degree burglary and first degree robbery in connection with the July 10th crime.

Police are looking into whether the two men are also linked to other burglaries with similar characteristics. In those cases, the suspects would knock on the door or ring the doorbell before forcing their way into the home.
