POLL RESULTS: President’s Iowa Approval Drops

Results of a new poll released Monday show the majority of Iowa voters don’t like the job the president is doing.

The Quinnipiac University poll shows 55-percent of Iowans disapprove of the job President Obama is doing, that’s one of the lowest scores in nine states surveyed.

The president wins majority job approval among Democrat voters, at 82-percent.

The poll shows he’s highly disliked by Republicans, at 90-percent.

Fifty-nine-percent of independent voters disapprove of the job he’s doing.
