Police say the driver of a stolen car led officers on a chase hitting speeds of 100-miles per hour Sunday night.

It started in Windsor Heights around 63rd and University Avenue. Authorities say an officer tried to pull over the vehicle for non-working brake and license plate lights.

The driver stopped at first but then took off. The car went through Windsor Heights and into Des Moines. The driver lost control of the car near Broadlawns Hospital.

Two females stayed in the vehicle and two males ran off.

Police arrested a 17-year-old juvenile female from Carlisle and 23-year-old Timothy Hellmers of Des Moines. Both are charged with interference and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The driver of the vehicle is still on the loose.
