A Wapello County man accused of murdering his pregnant wife is scheduled to be in court Monday for part of the pre-trial process for his second trial.
Seth Techel is accused of shooting and killing his wife, Lisa, in their Agency home in May of 2012. He is charged with first degree murder and non-consensual termination of a pregnancy.
His first trial ended in mistrial back in March.
In that case, prosecutors argued he killed Lisa so he could carry on an affair with a co-worker. Techel claimed his wife was shot by neighbor with mental problems.
His new trial will be held in Henry County and is scheduled to begin on August 12th.
