One man is hospitalized and two police officers are on leave after an officer involved shooting in western Iowa.
Sunday afternoon, Council Bluffs police confronted a man with some type of cutting device.
Police say the man rushed at an officer. They say the officer shot a taser at him but that didn’t stop the man and he charged at another officer. That second officer opened fire.
The Pottawattamie County dispatch says the man was hit three times. The suspect is in critical condition.
Police have not yet released the man’s name.
