Women from Iowa and Nebraska are suing the company that owns the Olive Garden chain, saying they got sick after eating at their business.

A Minneapolis lawyer filed the federal lawsuit on behalf of Joyce Nendza of Nebraska and Kelly Kunc of Iowa.

The lawyer says Nendza ate at the Sioux City Olive Garden and Kunc ate at the one in Cedar Rapids. The FDA says cyclospora came from Mexico-based Taylor Farms. That company supplies lettuce for red lobster and olive garden restaurants.

Four-hundred people in 16 states have been sickened.

More than 140 of those cases are in Iowa.
