HEROIN ARREST: Ames Man Charged

An Ames man has been arrested in eastern Iowa on drug charges.

Emergency services were initially called to an unresponsive female in the parking lot at the Iowa 80 Truckstop in Walcott. The female was taken to hospital to be treated for a suspected drug overdose.

During a search of the car police discovered 15 bags of heroin, hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia.

26-year old Michael Aagesen was arrested and is being held in the Scott County jail on multiple drug charges including possession with intent to deliver.
