Dallas County supervisors will meet next week to decide what to do following a failed vote for a new jail and administration building.
Supervisors will canvas the vote Tuesday during a regularly scheduled meeting.
They’ll review election data and issue the official results.
The auditor says the board will then likely discuss the next steps in the process.
The earliest the issue can be brought back up for a vote is in six months.
Only about 12-percent of voters cast ballots in the $17-million referendum.
