Customers at the Papa Murphy’s in Altoona got more than pizza Wednesday night when they witnessed a robbery and then helped catch the crook.
Forty-three-year-old Timothy Hoyt of Bella Vista, Arkansas came into the pizzeria and demanded cash from the registers. But thanks to quick descriptions from pizza-goers, police were able to snag the robber within minutes.
Hoyt is charged with first degree robbery, a felony punishable up to 25 years in prison. He is currently being held at the Polk County Jail.
