FAIR HOEDOWN: Junior Fiddlers Compete

It was an old fashioned hoedown inside Pioneer Hall Friday featuring some of the best young fiddlers in the state.

Three days of fiddlin' championships kicked off with the Junior Championships.

This year's junior champion was 14-year old Sarah Bell from Ames.

Saturday, 18 to 49 year olds compete. On Sunday morning it’s the 50 and over championship. Those two winners compete to be named the Grand Champion Fiddler on Sunday evening.
