DNR MEETING: Urban Deer Bow Hunt Talk In Johnston

A controversial topic will be the subject of a meeting in Johnston Monday night.

The 2013 Urban Deer Bow Hunt will be explained by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Polk County Deer Task Force.

The purpose of the program and its safety along with rules and regulations of the hunt will be discussed at the meeting.

Anyone looking for more information is encouraged to attend.  The meeting is open to the public.

The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Johnston City Hall.
