Drivers in Clive will want to watch their speedometer this week.
The controversial traffic cameras will be turned back at 12:01 a.m. Monday morning.
Last week, City Council members voted 3-2 to turn the red light cameras back on largely because of the revenue they bring in to the city.
The estimated $700,000 the cameras rake in was already included in this year’s budget.
The contract the city has with the company that operates the cameras runs until June of 2014.
Council members said when the contract is up the cameras will be removed for good.
