SANDUSKY SCANDAL: One Victim Makes Settlement

Penn State University reached a settlement in the first civil claim by one of the sexual abuse victims of former assistant Football Coach Jerry Sandusky.

An attorney representing “victim 5” declined to release the settlement amount but said one had been reached.

The victim will not make any public statements himself.

Jerry Sandusky was convicted and sentenced on 45 counts of child sex abuse.

He is serving a sentence of between 30 and 60 years.
