The red light cameras in Clive have been reactivated, Monday.
The cameras were switched off July 18th due to a contract dispute with the company that owns the cameras.
The issue was resolved during last week’s city council meeting.
The new contract lasts through the end of next June.
After that, council members say they plan to remove the cameras permanently.
Tickets are $100 with Clive getting $69 and the company operating the cameras, Redflex, getting the remaining $31.
That’s an increase from the last contract where Clive received just $44 a ticket.
