Rookie camp for the Iowa Wild took place Tuesday night but it wasn’t for the players. It was for the fans.

Almost 1,000 season ticket holders meet at the Well for a behind the scenes look at the team as part of a fan appreciation night.

Fans got to skate on the brand new ice, take a tour of the locker rooms, even get their wrist's taped like a real player.

Fans are ready to go wild.

“We’ll be some of the loudest fans in the area and I can’t wait for it to come,” says fan, Jordan Lill.

The Wild hosts their first ever home game at Wells Fargo Arena October 12th.
