Over a million people went to this year’s Iowa State Fair. Some of those left in handcuffs.

During the 11-day run of the fair this year, officers arrested 262 people.

That compares to 272 in 2012. However, that year, 50,000 more people attended.

The most common offenses were public intoxication, minor in possession of alcohol and disorderly conduct.

An arrest that has yet to be made relates to a stolen safe that contained over $25,000. Police have no leads in that case.
