A uniquely Iowan sculpture caught the attention of many at the Get Connected to Farming Exhibit at this year’s Iowa State Fair.

The sculpture made from nearly 40,000 Lego bricks attracted the eyes of around 300,000 fairgoers to the Iowa Food & Family project.

The artwork is a colorful representation of the state, showcasing Iowa’s rolling farms and fields among other things.

The sculpture was made by Lego Professional Sean Kenney.  The sculpture took 300 hours to create.
