A Des Moines man is recovering after being shot multiple times on Saturday morning.

Police said 43-year-old Michael Tittle was walking in the Mondamin Presidential neighborhood around 2:30 a.m. when a car pulled up and someone inside started to shoot.

Tittle was shot in the leg and lower back.  Officials said he is expected to survive.

Police are still investigating the shooting and have not announced any suspects.
