NORDEN HALL: City Approves Move

Des Moines City Council gave final approval to save a historic building Monday night.

The council signed off on a plan to move Norden Hall, a century old row house, off of the State Capitol grounds.

The building will be moved four blocks away to East 4th and Grand.

It will be renovated for commercial use at an estimated cost of around $1-million.
